Linguae Mundi Polish Language Course

Linguae Mundi offers a course in Polish as a foreign language with elements of knowledge about Poland and guidance. The program features classes conducted by qualified teachers, teaching mechanisms, enriched with an attractive program of cultural output, to obtain a state certificate attesting to knowledge of the Polish language. Beneficiaries will get refunds concerning travel and refreshments during the lectures.

The right to participate in the course:
– third-country nationals or stateless persons whose status was defined by the Geneva Convention of 28 July 1951 and New York Protocol thereto of 1967, who obtained a residence permit as a refugee on the territory of a Member State;
– third-country nationals or stateless persons enjoying a form of subsidiary protection  within the meaning of Council Directive 2004/83/EC of 29 April 2004 (Official Journal of the European Communities L 304 of 30.09.2004 r.) on minimum standards for the recognition of third country nationals or stateless persons as refugees or as persons who otherwise need protection international status of the persons and the scope of assistance;
– country nationals or stateless persons who have applied for one of the above  forms of protection;
– third-country nationals or stateless persons enjoying temporary protection within the meaning of Directive 2001/55/EC.

Registration for the courses is conducted throughout the duration of the project, the foundation has the right to refuse admission to the course due to lack of or failure to comply with the criteria of recruitment.

The course includes
– Polish language lessons, lectures on knowledge of Poland, a workshop on active job search, tours.

The project coordinator is Adam Sajkowski, assistant coordinator is Ludwika Zalewska and Karol Waniek, methodologist – Samantha Busiło. Classes are held in groups of 10 persons in the premises of the Foundation – Krzywicki street 34 (entrance B) in Warsaw. There is a possibilty to travel to the listener in exceptional and justified cases.
